Attorney Margaret (Peg) Simok is a senior associate at Cognetti & Associates located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Ms. Simok received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from the Widener University School of Law. Ms. Simok has been practicing law for over ten years.

Before entering the legal profession, Ms. Simok worked in the telecommunication industry throughout Pennsylvania in management, sales, customer service, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Cognetti & Associates, Ms. Simok spent five years with MidPenn Legal Services where she managed the Dauphin County office and represented underprivileged clients in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties in family law matters.

Ms. Simok helped to spearhead the formation of the Dauphin County Self-Help Committee and is a member of the Dauphin County Public Service Committee. Ms. Simok also serves as an officer for the Dauphin County Family Law Section, is a founding member of the William Lipsett Inn of Court, a board member for Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties, a member of the Pennsylvania Supervised Visitation Task Force, and, most recently, a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on several committees.

Ms. Simok has taught child custody CLE's for the Dauphin County Bar Association for the past ten years, most recently on how to prepare for a child custody trial. Additionally, Ms. Simok has done numerous presentations to Senior Centers and Rotary Groups on grandparents’ custody rights.

Although Ms. Simok has lived throughout Pennsylvania during her career, she is a Pittsburgh native and still roots for the Pirates and Steelers.
